That Day We Sang, by Victoria Wood, is a musical set in the Manchester of 1929 and 1969. It is the story of two lonely middle-aged people, Tubby (Michael Ball) and Enid (Imelda Staunton), who are able to grab a second chance at life when they are reconnected to their emotions by the power of music.
