Over a year has passed since the events of Season 2. DS Claire Wallace (Nora-Jane Noone) finds the easy dynamic of her CAB team unsettled by the disruptive addition of cocky young Detective Liam Boylan (Dónall Ó Héalaí), just as she faces the biggest challenge of her career when a routine investigation takes a lethal turn.
Alice Heaslip (Rebecca O’Mara) and her sister Dr Niamh Bennett (Catherine Walker) find themselves under suspicion from CAB, and their lives under threat when the death of Alice’s husband Nick (Paul Reid), during a routine CAB raid in Dublin, exposes links between Nick’s financial services company and the murder of an investigative reporter in Bilbao.
Following Alice to Bilbao, Claire and Sean (Aaron Monaghan) face a growing body count and join forces with Ertzaintza detectives Jon Beitia (Iñigo Gastesi) and Lore Velasco (Charlotte Timmers) in an effort to find the motive for the murders. Back in Dublin, Norah (Cathy Belton) and Liam butt heads as they work to unmask the increasingly volatile head of an international criminal network before he can expand its deadly reach.
Written by Peter McKenna (Gangs of London, Kin, Hidden Assets), Mary Fox & Marty Thornton (Gangs of London S3, Hidden Assets S2), Susan E. Connolly (The Iris Affair, Hidden Assets S2, Redemption) and Cara Loftus (Spilt Milk, The Hardacres), produced by Saffron Moon (Hidden Assets Season 1 & 2, Acceptable Risk) and Potemkino (Hidden Assets, Cold Courage), Hidden Assets Season 3 is an investigative thriller set in Dublin and Bilbao, exploring the corrupting effects of insatiable greed and the need to control.
The series was shot in Dublin, Antwerp and Bilbao in 2025, for broadcast on RTÉ One, Acorn TV, EITB and Streamz and inclusion in the DCD Rights catalogue for international sales.
